Parking 

Think about where you park. Your car will stay cleaner in a parkade than on the street. It will also stay cleaner in your garage or even in a carport that it will parked out front. This is because when the car has some kind of overhead covering you will avoid a lot of tree sap, leaves, and pollen. 

Garbage 

Keep a little bag in your vehicle for garbage, even a ziplock bag will do. This keeps you upholstery and floor mats cleaner for much longer and you will have fewer crumbs and spills. Just remember to throw away your garbage regularly and get a clean bag so your car doesn’t smell. 

Stains 

Always address stains as soon as possible. Stains on upholstery or carpeting are easier to remove when they are new. Don’t leave a stain for months and think you will get it out perfectly. Address stains the same day they occur if possible. 

Wheels 

When you wash your vehicle, don’t forget to wash the wheels and wheel wells. This will make a big difference in how your car looks. If the wheels looks dirty, then the whole car looks dirty.
