Shine Auto Wash Brings Haunted Car Wash to Coquitlam October 23–24

Looking for a haunted car wash in Metro Vancouver this Halloween season?

Shine Auto Wash is turning its Coquitlam wash tunnel into a haunted drive-through experience for two nights only: Friday, October 23 and Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 6 PM to 10 PM.

The Haunted Car Wash takes place at Shine Auto Wash Coquitlam, 1111 Woolridge Street, with live actors, spooky fog, creepy figures and a Halloween themed light show, transforming a regular trip through the car wash into a Halloween experience!

And the best part: the haunted experience is included with every wash at no additional charge!

What happens at the Haunted Car Wash?

Drivers take their vehicle through the Shine Auto Wash tunnel while actors perform scares throughout the wash. Fog and orange a Halloween themed light show add to the Halloween atmosphere as your vehicle moves through the tunnel.

Your car comes out clean. Your nerves are on their own.

Guests who choose "The Works" wash get additional lights and soap as part of the regular wash experience, which may also mean a few more opportunities for surprises along the way.

A Halloween Car Wash Experience Comes to Metro Vancouver

Haunted car washes have become a popular Halloween attraction in communities across North America, combining the familiar experience of a drive-through car wash with actors, lighting, smoke and Halloween scares.

Now Shine is bringing the concept to Metro Vancouver.

Shine Auto Wash operates three car wash locations in Vancouver, Burnaby and Coquitlam, but the Haunted Car Wash event will take place exclusively at the Coquitlam location on October 23 and 24.

If the event is a success, Shine plans to bring the Haunted Car Wash back in future years.
